Description

Studio Wae is a circular design company that transforms waste materials into high-quality ornamental flooring.

Their approach is based on urban mining and material recovery.

Their paving stones are made largely from materials recovered from buildings which are about to be demolished or paving about to be replaced. These materials are used to make concrete – and at the end of their life, the new paving stones can be returned to the loop and used to make more concrete.

Their rugs are made from 100% production waste from Dutch carpet tile producers which are keen to make the most of the waste they generate.
