Description

REvive Alhaurín is a community-driven circular economy initiative founded in 2026 in Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga province, Spain) that connects people, businesses, companies and local entities to make better use of what we have, extend the life of things, transform waste into economic opportunities, boost the local economy and strengthen community ties.

It is built around a simple idea: before buying something new or throwing away something you don't use, there are better options - and these options are learned, practised and spread in the community.

REvive Alhaurín integrates repair (Repair Café), reuse (donation bank, toy library), sharing (clothes swap, tool library), reduction (advice on alternatives to buying new and how you can use something rather than throwing it away) and recovery (recycling, composting or recovery of components).

It includes Andalusia's first official Repair Café, part of the Repair Café International Foundation.
