ICSD 2027: 15th International Conference on Sustainable Development
ICSD 2027, organised by the European Center of Sustainable Development in collaboration with the Canadian Institute of Technology, will bring together researchers and professionals to address key challenges in sustainable development, including the circular economy, resource efficiency, waste reduction, sustainable production and consumption, and environmental innovation.
The theme for ICSD 2027 is Creating a unified foundation for sustainable development: research, practice and education. It will approach sustainable development through themes directly related to the transition towards a more circular economy, including resource efficiency, waste reduction and management, sustainable production and consumption, innovation, and economic models with a lower environmental impact.
The conference will provide an international platform for the exchange of research, practices and solutions that connect circular economy principles with the broader objectives of sustainable development. It aims to foster international cooperation and the development of practical solutions capable of accelerating the transition towards more sustainable and circular models of development.
The conference will take place in September 2027 but the call for proposals for paper presentations, posters/exhibits, or virtual presentations is open. Presentations can be published in the European Journal of Sustainable Development.
The main areas for abstracts are economic, environmental and socio-cultural sustainability but other topics will be considered. All proposals and presentations must be in English although manuscripts can be in English or Italian. The deadline for submission is 30 July 2027 - see the guidelines.
