Circularity - making the economy go round - Policy Talks with Virginijus Sinkevičius

In a world with limited resources, the shift towards a circular economy represents both an opportunity and a challenge for many sectors, in particular, the retail and wholesale sector. It will need the whole supply chain to rethink the way the products are designed, manufactured, sold, repaired and disposed of, to foster more sustainable consumption and consumer behaviour.

The COVID crisis has shown the importance of building strong, resilient and innovative European economic actors equipped to compete with third-country players. We look forward to hearing from Commissioner  Virginijus Sinkevičius about how the Commission intends to meet these challenges and achieve its ambitious targets for a circular future.

The webinar will take place on Friday, 22 January 2021, from 14.00 to 15.00 (CET). As in previous Policy Talks, participants are invited to use the registration form to submit their questions ahead of the event, and the online chat during the event.
