Description

Quid provides jobs for vulnerable people, especially women, in a field for which Italy is renowned: fashion. Quid markets its ethical and sustainable clothing under the label Quid Project. The project sources the raw material from the Italian fashion and textile world, using production surpluses and end-of-series fabrics. It therefore combines social and environmental impact.

In addition to developing its own fashion brand, Quid is an ethical supplier for for-profit companies such as the Calzedonia group, NaturaSì and L'Oréal. It produces co-branded accessories and capsule collections.

Main results

Quid was set up in 2012 and aims to help vulnerable women enter the labour market. There are now 10 Quid shops. Quid works with 16 local and international companies and sells its products through its own shops and more than 100 multibrand shops, as well as online. It sources fabric from 24 Italian textile and fashion companies, and 250 km of fabric were recovered just in 2019.
