Looking for circular practices in the Western Balkan region!

The Western Balkans Circular Economy Hub (WBCEH: see their Linkedin page) is excited to announce the launch of the 100 best circular practices initiative from the Western Balkan region!

The aim is to collect 100 best examples from companies or organisations from all six Western Balkan countries that have successfully implemented circular solutions in their existing business model, or have managed to incorporate circularity into their core business model.

The initiative is inspired by a model that has shown great success in the Nordics, started and led by Cradlenet. The WBCEH wants to celebrate your efforts and showcase your commitment to advancing the circular economy, as well as helping you gain recognition and visibility across the whole region!

What does 'best' mean, though? This call is for you if:

  • you are a company or an organisation that has successfully implemented a circular practice or your business model is entirely based on one or more of the circular economy principles,
  • your solution is scalable and replicable, especially in other Western Balkan countries,
  • you think your solution is creative and innovative and can serve as an inspiration for others.

What's in it for you if you apply?

  • Possibility to be chosen as one of the 100 best circular practices from the six Western Balkan countries,
  • Increased visibility by being promoted on the WBCEH's social media channels and website once it's launched,
  • Distribution of the final publication with all 100 best practices at events and conferences and to potential donors,
  • Chance to amplify and strengthen your network of clients, partners and suppliers,
  • Finally, getting recognition for your efforts and hard work to make the seemingly impossible a reality!
