Summary of the pledge
In July 2018 for all the bottles of Coop brand household and laundry detergents and with the use of CPR System Boxes for the handling of fresh fruit and vegetables, 960 tons/year of recycled plastic are already used.
From September 2018, in addition also Coop branded fresh fruit and vegetables trays will contain recycled plastic bringing a total contribution by Coop to the recycled plastic market of 1.160 tonnes/year.
From December 2019, in addition to previous products also Coop branded bottle of water will contain recycled plastic bringing a total contribution by Coop to the recycled plastic market of 2.020 tonnes/year.
From January 2023, Coop branded household and laundry detergent, Coop branded bottle of water with an other step, Coop branded fresh fruit and vegetables trays and CPR System Boxes for the handling of fruit and vegetables will bring a total contribution by Coop to the recycled plastic market of 2.560 tonnes/year.
From January 2025, Coop branded household and laundry detergent, Coop branded bottle of water, Coop branded fresh fruit and vegetables trays, CPR System Boxes with an other implementation step for the handling of fruit and vegetables and all the brands of water sold in Coop stores will contain recycled plastic and will bring a total contribution by Coop to the recycled plastic market of 6.400 tonnes/year.
