The pledge is made jointly by TCCC’s bottlers Coca-Cola EU Partners & Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company for an average 45% rPET by 2025, equating to more than 160000mt. This is across the packaging portfolio & geographies, subject to conditions. Bottlers are free to apply the committed amount at any time, in any bottle, and in any market, as long as they reach the pledged volume annually

The Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) pledges 202 412 tons recycled plastics used in 2025 on behalf of our members in the food industry, personal hygiene and other industries. This is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to demand for recycled plastics in Denmark in the coming years, but availability and quality of recycled plastics ultimately determines if the pledge will be met.
VinylPlus commits to recycle 900,000 T of PVC/year by 2025, a significant contribution to the 10 million T objective by the Commission, and 1 million T/year by 2030. Representing the entire value chain (resins & additives producers, converters, recyclers) it responded immediately to the Commission call for voluntary pledges from the plastics industry. VinylPlus recycled 5 million T since 2000.
Increase the use of recycled plastic content in our packaging to at least 25%. Halving the waste associated with the disposal of our products. 100% of plastic packaging fully reusable, recyclable or compostable.
Neste has pledged to work towards chemical recycling of more than one million tons of plastic waste annually from 2030 onwards. We aim to use liquefied waste plastic as raw material to produce high-quality plastics, chemicals and fuels. Regulatory recognition of chemical recycling is needed to speed up development.
Clearly advocating that waste is managed as a resource, LIPOR consolidates its position which is reflected by the creation of value along to the production cycle, characterized by the reintroduction of "waste" as "resource" in the value chain. Contributing to "A Vision for the Circular Economy of Plastics", LIPOR signed a commitment to the Single Use Plastics and Plastics Strategy.
The share of R-PET utilisation in nonwovens is expected to increase from 34% in 2017 up to 40% in 2025. EDANA pledges on behalf of the nonwoven manufacturers among its members, representing over 85 % of the nonwovens production in the EU2 an uptake of more than 300,000 tonnes of R-PET by 2025, providing that the post-consumer waste volumes necessary to back such a growth are available.
From January 2025, Coop branded household and laundry detergent, Coop branded bottle of water, Coop branded fresh fruit and vegetables trays, CPR System Boxes for fruit and vegetables and all the brands of water sold in Coop stores will contain recycled plastic and will bring a total contribution by Coop to the recycled plastic market of 6.400 tonnes/year (based on sales data 2017).
