Collection points are the "great unknown" to people's eyes, many of whom do not exactly know how these work and seem to know even less about what is done with collected materials.

Among numerous circular economy and sustainable development activities, the association LlobreGats from Barcelona - which refurbishes disused glass containers at collection points to offer a dignified shelter to stray cats - creates animated mini-series to help the young and not so young audience reuse, reduce, separate and properly deposit their waste both in correct trash bins and in collection points. The mini-series on the Soste-Nible (Spanish for "sustainable") or Sustai-Nable Family:

• shows what the circular economy is for citizens and how it works in Spain: how to treat each waste separately, what is admitted and what is not;
• ends with some tips on how to minimize human footprint on the planet. Each of the 47 micro-chapters lasts 1.30 minutes on average;
• might also be useful in other countries (with the appropriate adaptations) as the system is based on European guidelines;
• is translated into English (using an online translator), the 4 official (Castellano, Català, Euskara, Galego) and the 5 unofficial (Asturianu, Valencià, Mallorqiù, Aragonés, Aranés) languages of Spain;
• is recommended by the Spanish Ministries of Education and of Ecological Transition and various regional governments;
• is used by Spanish educational centres to familiarise children from an early age with waste treating and recycling.
