Summer School on circular building and sustainable construction materials
Natura Mater are experts in low-impact construction materials. Their focus is sustainable materials, meaning circular and biobased. They encourage reusing materials over the automatic purchase of new ones, and opting for recycled, low-impact and regenerative materials. Insulation made from recycled cork or straw and lime hemp building blocks, for instance!
They help with sourcing and design - but they also hold training courses for industry professionals.
This July and August, they will be holding a Summer School about low-impact construction. This will involve two in-depth training sessions per week (taking place in French and Dutch), which will take a deep dive into the world of sustainable construction. The sessions will explore every aspect of low-impact construction, including more than 80 readily applicable materials. Whether you're looking to innovate or enhance your expertise, this programme is designed to inspire and empower you to make a real impact.
It's a good opportunity to level up your skills and contribute to a greener future.
