TwinRevolution e-learning course: Exploring Twin Digital and Green Transition in Manufacturing Industry
This is a new and innovative e-learning initiative designed to catalyse the transition towards more sustainable and digitally advanced practices in the manufacturing industry. Freely available to all learners, it provides a comprehensive understanding of the twin digital and green transition in manufacturing companies.
The course has four training modules, each designed to address specific aspects of the transition process:
1. Introduction to the Twin Transition
Explore the manufacturing hierarchy in the furniture and textile industries. Find out about supporting principles, recognise limits, identify necessary changes and explain the rationale for the transformation towards sustainability.
2. Circular Economy Applied in the Manufacturing Industry
Learn about the transition from the linear to the circular economy. Explore the limits of the linear economy, identify dimensions for change and get to grips with the role of the circular economy.
3. Industry 4.0 Technologies in the Manufacturing Industry
Explore Industry 4.0: find out about concepts, technologies and trends. Develop the skills to identify relevant technologies and the competences to analyse, compare and select them effectively.
4. Twin Green and Digital Transition
Explore the green and digital transitions in manufacturing. Find out about interconnections, industry 4.0 tech and skills for circular and sustainable processes.
There is a final course assessment after a total duration of 50 learning hours.
