Intesa Sanpaolo is a strategic partner of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, which is active in promoting the global transition to the circular economy. Both of these bodies are keen to support companies as they go circular and together, they have identified criteria for assessing the level of circularity of the initiatives proposed by companies.

Intesa Sanpaolo has renewed the commitment made with the previous Plan by allocating a new Circular Economy Plafond of EUR 8 billion for the green and circular economy.

The credit plafond is available to customers of the Italian Retail Division, IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Divisions and International Subsidiary Banks Division. It is intended for Italian and international businesses that adopt the circular model with innovative methods, offering them optimum credit access conditions.
