Circular Cities Program Poland
The official launch of the "Circular Cities Program Poland" reports will take place on 19 April 2021 at 11 a.m. CEST as part of a broader European online event.
The project has lasted over a year with a number of public consultations, and produced various analyses. It also conducted sustainability studies, including material flow analysis in key sectors, stakeholder assessment and spatial analysis. As a result, long-term circular strategies were created, covering various areas of city management along with an action plan ready to be implemented by Krakow, Lublin and Gdańsk. Implementing these recommendations will contribute not only to reducing the negative environmental impact, but also to generating financial profits and new business opportunities for the cities.
During the event, the conclusions of the analyses will be discussed and experts will try to establish whether other Polish cities are ready to implement circular strategies. We will also find out whether Krakow, Lublin and Gdańsk can become circular economy leaders in Poland. The event will be a golden opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with our European partners.
