H2O & Sustainability Summit 2025
This event is organised by the H2O & Sustainability Innovation Hub, a global accelerator dedicated to supporting innovative projects and startups with high implementation potential in key areas such as water management, sustainable mobility, sustainability, the circular economy, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) factors and sustainable tourism. It aims to drive the transformation of technology and sustainability by leveraging advanced tools and methodologies. It connects up companies, municipalities, startups, universities and research centres to accelerate sustainable innovation and deliver measurable impact at local and global levels.
The H2O & Sustainability Summit is an international event bringing together leading experts, companies, startups, universities, research centres and institutions to promote dialogue, foster collaboration and accelerate innovation in key areas including the circular economy. It will include a high-level conference with renowned speakers addressing emerging challenges and solutions at the intersection of sustainability and technology, covering Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Data Science, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.
Alongside the conference, a Fair Event will showcase innovative solutions, services and initiatives, offering unique opportunities for networking and business development.
Conference topics include:
- Leveraging data and AI: risks and opportunities in water, energy and waste management
- Quantum computing for resource optimization: applications in water and energy management
- Software integration and interoperability for efficient water and sustainability management
Registration, topics and speakers. This event will take place on 14-15 October at the University of Algarve, Faro, Portugal. It will be in person only.
Most panels will be in Portuguese, but some panels/round tables featuring international speakers will be in English. The Pitch Ceremony, when groups from universities, research centres and startups present their projects, will be in English.
