European Commission consults SMEs on the management of plastic pellets
The European Commission is conducting a survey on possible new legislation on the management of plastic pellets, with a view to reducing the amount which ends up in the environment. The new legislation would require all companies that produce, handle, process, transport and store plastic pellets in the European Union to adopt good practices to prevent, contain and reduce spills and losses of plastic pellets into the soil, water and air.
This survey is only for companies handling plastic pellets in the European Union, in particular small and micro-companies. If you are interested in sharing your opinion, please consult the dedicated page. The questionnaire is available in all language versions. Feel free to reply to the survey or forward it to small companies in the plastics value chain.
If you have any questions, please use this contact form.
The survey will close on Thursday 23 February 2023.
