Global Gateway: companies from Chile and the EU invited to present innovative circular economy solutions
The Government of Chile and the European Union invite Chilean and EU companies to submit detailed proposals describing innovative solutions to build or strengthen a sustainable and circular value chain that can contribute to Chile's environmental, social and economic development. The focus is on textiles, organic materials, photovoltaic panels and plastics.
This call for expressions of interest is part of the Global Gateway, an EU initiative intended to help narrow the global investment gap by mobilising sustainable investment, technology transfer and public-private partnerships. The call also reflects the joint commitment of Chile and the EU to strengthen their international cooperation with a view to promoting sustainable investments, innovation and capacity building to foster a more circular and resilient economy.
The purpose of this call is to gather preliminary ideas and information about potential solutions and strategies. It is important to note that this is a non-binding request designed to evaluate the range of available possibilities.
Following this phase, the Government of Chile and the EU will use studies, technical assistance, capacity building, support for regulatory frameworks and research for innovation in order to facilitate investments in Chile. They will also consider implementing catalytic financial instruments to expedite investment structuring.
The expressions of interest can be in English or Spanish and address one or more of the following areas from a value chain perspective: textiles, organic materials, photovoltaic panels and plastics from various industries.
The application period closes on 10 February 2026.
