Interested in joining the STEAM Executive Panel?
The call for applications is open!
The STEAM Executive Panel is one of the Commission's informal expert groups. It will provide the Commission with expertise and advice on current skills needs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) sectors and on innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) pedagogical approaches that can support skills development.
It will be composed of around 20 members. It will represent a diverse, multi-stakeholder perspective, including representatives from European STEM-intensive business sectors, education and training experts (all educational levels), and labour market and policy specialists, such as representatives from employment agencies and social partners. Together, they will provide strategic insights and guidance on improving collaboration between education and training institutions and businesses active in STEM fields. The goal is to better align skills supply and labour market needs and support the talent development of adaptable STEM graduates for a rapidly evolving society.
This call is relevant to the circular economy, which after all also requires new skills and competences, such as designing sustainable materials and products, scaling up and deploying circular business models, and modelling.
