This report was produced as part of the EU-funded RECIRCULATE project which aims to extend battery lifespans and transform battery reuse across Europe. It delves into the complex landscape of policies and standards influencing battery supply chains, as well as the multifaceted challenges and enablers for battery supply chain circularity in the EU. 

Based on an inventory of relevant policies and standards and interviews with stakeholders spanning the supply chain, it provides recommendations for improved circularity.
