The ECESP held the second Circular Economy Days at the World Expo 2025.  

The World Expo is a great opportunity to meet and experience the best the world has to offer in terms of innovation, creativity and future-proof solutions.  

This year, from 22 to 24 September, the Platform organised nine events over three days in five national pavilions in Osaka, Japan. This international series of events aimed to foster dialogue and collaboration among European and Japanese practitioners, policymakers, businesses and innovators in the circular economy. The sessions explored strategies, shared good practices and sought to build partnerships that support circular solutions across sectors and borders.

The ECESP delegation comprised members of our Coordination Group, representatives of the European Commission and members of the European Economic and Social Committee.
