The action-program "Circular procurement" was a one-year experiment, launched in 2018.
It aimed at bringing together actors from the public and private sectors to collaborate on a project to foster the circular economy as an essential factor in their purchasing decision-making.

The objectives of this program were:

• to create and share knowledge by promoting excellent approaches
• to have real impacts on the use of resources and social and economic realities
• to raise awareness and convince on the benefits of integrating the circular economy in the purchasing process for the economy, social and environment.

This programme is inspired mainly from the Dutch and Belgian "Green Deals" models. It wants to serve as an example to progressively engage more and more actors from both the public and private sectors.
