Description

This catalogue of good practices has been prepared by LOOPA, The Observatory of Circular Economy and Business Sustainability of the Region of Murcia. LOOPA:

  • brings together regional stakeholders to encourage and measure the green transition in the Region of Murcia.
  • pools available knowledge and technology, making the most of resources and synergies to power sustainable economic growth.
  • recognises the efforts of businesses and regional entities that constitute good practices.
  • aligns the initiatives of Murcia’s business community with EU policies and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The ‘Catalogue of the Best Practices of the Región de Murcia's Businesses in Circular Economy’ is an interactive tool. It collects solutions, optimal industrial processes and green business models which can inspire others and drive the circular transition. These good practices have been categorised and validated by experts at CETENMA, the technogical centre for energy and the environment that supports research, development and innovation in companies active in water technologies and the circular economy.

Users can search by sector (such as tourism, logistics, housing and chemicals), by circular economy principle or by one of the seven Rs. There is also a map of the good practices. Users can propose new content.

The site is primarily in Spanish; some of it has been translated into English.
