suHCO (Systemic Sustainability Transition Solution for Health Care Organisations through PCP) is a Horizon Europe project which began in September 2025. It addresses the common challenge of accelerating the sustainability transition in the healthcare sector through a Horizon Europe Pre-Commercial Procurement process. 

The project brings together three public procurers (CSC, ISRAA, HDUHB) from Spain, the UK and Italy, providing services to 6.4 million people.

The project aims to develop an AI-powered horizontal digital planning and execution-driven system enabling the healthcare sector to become more sustainable and circular. The system will adapt to the local regulatory requirements, it will be scalable and both individual healthcare organisations and entire health systems will be able to implement it. The system will also be modular, enabling specialised software companies to embed components into existing solutions. Uptake will cut material use, waste and pollution and advance One Health globally.

Through three competitive phases, suHCO will co-develop, prototype and pilot this platform with selected suppliers. Each phase is separate: only suppliers that successfully complete a phase are invited to tender for the next. 

The webinar aims to give potential bidders a clear first orientation on the suHCO Call for Tenders, the published tender documents, the solution requirements and the application process. Participants will also have the opportunity to raise questions directly with the project team.

The session will cover:

• the scope of the tender;
• practical guidance on the tender documentation and how the documents relate to each other;
• the expected project outcomes, with a particular focus on TD1 and the Challenge Brief in TD2;
• the tender timeline and submission deadline;
• upcoming briefing sessions, matchmaking opportunities and next steps; and
• an open question-and-answer session with the project team.
