This online event organised by Maximilien, a portal supporting digital administration in Île de France, will take place on Thursday 11 March at 9 a.m.

It will present Maximilien's new initiative supporting the development of circular public procurement (MACE) and explore how public procurement is shifting towards the circular economy. The president of the Île-de-France Region, French ministry representatives and French project managers will be among the speakers.

Marie Olive-Otto, Head of the Office for the Transformation of Organisations and Business Models in the French Ministry for the Ecological Transition, will speak about how the regulatory framework is changing focus, with particular emphasis on the Decree of 10 February 2020 on combating waste. A speaker from the Legal Affairs Directorate in the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and the Recovery will talk about a consultation on the circular economy in public procurement.

There will also be feedback from the Paris region on building an eco-designed school and a digital and circular purchasing project.
