European Circular Electronics Kickstart (ECEK) Innovation Day 2026 will bring together innovators, investors, policymakers, industry leaders and stakeholders who are helping build a more resilient and sustainable European electronics ecosystem. 

The event will showcase innovations from Europe and beyond, addressing areas such as the recovery of value from electronic waste, circular material flows and the reintegration of resources, knowledge and expertise into manufacturing ecosystems. It will also provide a forum for exchanging perspectives, identifying opportunities for collaboration and discussing how innovation can support the transition towards a more circular European electronics industry.

It will mark an important milestone for EVEN CLOSER, a European project creating a circular value chain for semiconductors by recovering critical materials from e-waste. It is working to unlock the potential of waste from electrical and electronic equipment, boosting recovery, reuse and reintegration into the manufacturing of chips and related products. The project also seeks to connect regions, rebuild expertise and create new opportunities across the electronics value chain.
