European Recycling Conference (ERC) 2026
Recycling Europe's flagship annual gathering is a central meeting point for the entire recycling value chain.
ERC 2026 will bring together hundreds of recycling professionals, policymakers, traders and market experts from across Europe and beyond to strengthen dialogue, build partnerships and advance circularity. It will be a valuable platform to discuss the future of recycled materials markets and the conditions needed to maintain Europe’s global competitiveness.
With the spotlight on the upcoming Circular Economy Act, this year’s conference will focus on one central question: how do we deliver circularity in practice? Discussions will explore the policy, market and industrial conditions needed to turn Europe’s circular ambitions into measurable results across value chains.
There will be sessions on:
- Unlocking the Circular Economy Act: From the single market to stronger demand for recycled materials
- Made in EU and green/circular preferences in public procurement
Beyond the policy debate, networking will take centre stage. ERC 2026 is designed as a high-impact meeting point where recyclers, manufacturers, EU officials and market analysts can connect, exchange intelligence and build partnerships that move the sector forward. From curated networking moments to informal exchanges throughout the day, participants will benefit from unmatched opportunities to expand their European network.
ERC 2026 will take place on 10 June in Madrid. It will be in person, with simultaneous English–Spanish interpreting. It is co-organised with the Spanish Recovery and Recycling Federation (FER) as part of SRR 2026, which will bring together more than 400 participants and 220 exhibitors from the recovery and recycling sector.
