European Sustainability Congress 2024
The European Sustainability Congress 2024 is one of the biggest international events focusing on the circular economy and sustainable development.
It aims to promote the idea of the circular economy, support sustainable business models and establish cooperation between interested stakeholders. The Congress will be the focal point of Circular Week 2024 and is organised by INNOWO - Institute for Innovation and Responsible Development and Polish Circular Hotspot, in cooperation with the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform.
Small and large businesses, start-ups, investors, representatives of public administrations and local governments, managers dealing with sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, the media - the participants will cover a broad spectrum of stakeholders interested in the circular economy.
There will be lectures and discussion panels with international experts representing areas such as macroeconomics, bio-economy, urban infrastructure, waste management and plastics. A networking area will be set up, with booths where circular projects and start-ups can explain what they're doing. Basically, the Congress will be an excellent opportunity for international networking.
The event will be organised on a hybrid basis. You are encouraged to attend in person, but if that is not possible, you are welcome to take part in the interactive online version. Each session will be streamed 'live' and you will be able to put questions to the experts in real time. There will also be online workshops for remote participants.
The Congress will take place on 23 October from 8:30 to 17:00 CET at the National Library of Poland in Warsaw. Participation is free of charge.
