On 19 May 2022, the European Furniture Industries Confederation (EFIC) is organising The Furniture Day 2022, a hybrid event which is meant to create a cross value chain discussion about the furniture industry and its future competitiveness, as well as its positive societal impact. Policymakers, furniture industry (manufacturers, traders) and supply chain representatives (panel and components manufacturer) will debate about the impact of the pandemic and the twin transition: sustainability and digitalisation.

The conference will be divided into two parts: a morning session from 10:00 to 12:00 on ''Key trends affecting the European furniture sector, with a focus on the coronavirus pandemic, sustainability and digitalisation'' and an afternoon session from 13:30 to 15:30 "The furniture industry in the twin (green and digital) transitions & overall needs of the industry to remain competitive at global level". 

The event will take place in Brussels (physical attendance by invitation only). Live web streaming of all sessions will be available during the day of the event in English. There will be also the possibility to interact through a dedicated tool.
