Measuring what matters: AI & transparency in bio-based products (bio-based industrial applications)
The ARGONAUT project (AI-powered environmental impact assessment for a circular economy) is developing an AI-driven tool to assess the environmental and climate impact of, map production options for, and optimise resource use of bio-based products.
JASON assesses the environmental and climate impact of bio-based products across their whole lifecycle. It also generates a Digital Bio-product Passport (DBP) which producers can use to back up their environmental claims.
This is the second of two online workshops demonstrating the updated JASON AI-driven tool.
Focusing on bio-based industrial applications from Italy, it will bring together SME producers, researchers, industry professionals, policymakers and regulators, environmental organisations and civil society to explore how AI and transparency are reshaping the way we assess the environmental footprint of bio-based products.
The event will provide a live demonstration of the updated JASON tool, using an industrial bio-product example. It will also present the Digital Bio-product Passport framework and look at how AI-driven assessment can evaluate products made from agricultural and agri-food by-products.
This webinar will take place at 10:00–11:30 CET on 13 November via Zoom. Registration.
