Reconciling sovereignty, competitiveness and green industrialisation: circular solutions for a competitive Europe

FNADE, France's National Federation of Depollution and Environmental Activities, will hold its annual congress on the topic of Reconciling sovereignty, competitiveness and green industrialisation: circular solutions for a competitive Europe.

It will ask a highly relevant question: how can we make circularity an asset for competitiveness? The congress will endeavour to identify levers for developing local production of materials and energy from the waste sector in France and Europe. It will also look at ways to reconcile regulatory simplification with the protection of the environment and human health.

The programme includes sessions on:

  • How to make the waste sector a permanent pillar of industrial competitiveness and national sovereignty,
  • Green reindustrialisation: keeping up ambitions, identifying solutions to make recyclates competitive, with a focus on plastics and metals,
  • Simplification or deregulation: what should we be aiming for?
  • Energy sovereignty: energy from waste, competitive solutions for people and business.

This event will take place in person at 09:30-17:30 CEST on 1 July at the Jardin d'Acclimatation in Paris. It will be in French, with interpreting into English for the presentations and roundtables. Programme and registration.
