This info session is organised by REPLACE, REgional PoLicy Actions for Circular Economy.
The circular economy is an answer to the critical issues related to climate change. By switching to a circular economic model, society can drastically decrease the pressure brought to bear on the ecosystem by the current wasteful consumption model. The transition towards a circular economy needs to be supported by supranational, national and regional governments. This session focuses on the role that the regions can play in this transition, flagging up the importance of interregional cooperation.
The event will take place on 12/10/2021, from 12.30 p.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities
