Second briefing on the suHCO call for tenders
suHCO (Systemic Sustainability Transition Solution for Health Care Organisations through PCP) is a Horizon Europe project which began in September 2025. It addresses the common challenge of accelerating the sustainability transition in the healthcare sector through a Horizon Europe Pre-Commercial Procurement process.
The project brings together three public procurers (CSC, ISRAA, HDUHB) from Spain, the UK and Italy, providing services to 6.4 million people.
The project aims to develop an AI-powered horizontal digital planning and execution-driven system enabling the healthcare sector to become more sustainable and circular. The system will adapt to the local regulatory requirements, it will be scalable and both individual healthcare organisations and entire health systems will be able to implement it. The system will also be modular, enabling specialised software companies to embed components into existing solutions. Uptake will cut material use, waste and pollution and advance One Health globally.
Through three competitive phases, suHCO will co-develop, prototype and pilot this platform with selected suppliers. Each phase is separate: only suppliers that successfully complete a phase are invited to tender for the next.
This second webinar will support potential tenderers in understanding the procurement process and preparing their submissions.
It will cover:
- an overview of the PCP process and key tender principles;
- administrative and financial requirements for tender submission;
- key deadlines, the evaluation process and future activities; and
- an open Q&A session with participants.
This webinar will take place at 10:00-11:30 CEST on 21 September. Register here.
