Seminar for European Governmental Competence Centres for Sustainable Public Procurement

On 20 October 2020 at 13:15 – 17:30 (CET), the  German Competence Centre for Sustainable Procurement (KNB) and the European Commission are organising the first online networking seminar for European Governmental Competence Centres for Sustainable Public Procurement and other governmental actors active in this field. KNB supports public buyers in the inclusion of sustainability criteria in procurement projects.

Taking place in context of the EU Conference on Public Procurement on occasion of Germany’s Presidency of the Council, this networking webinar aims at connecting competence centres with each other.

Furthermore, understanding the way different competence centres support sustainable public procurement in their respective national context, sharing experiences in implementing sustainability criteria in the procurement process as well as identifying potential fields of cooperation will be vital parts of the event.

Ms. Marzena Rogalska, Director of the DG GROW G.2 – Public Procurement, will open the event with a keynote speech.
