Shaping circular procurement: European perspectives on effective implementation
Public procurement is a strategic instrument for advancing environmental, circular economy, and climate objectives at both the national and European level. Against this backdrop, the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) invites you to the Expert Conference Shaping Circular Procurement: European Perspectives on Effective Implementation, dedicated to knowledge exchange and strategic dialogue.
The event will provide insights into European best practices and foster discussion on innovative approaches and synergies for the successful implementation of circular public procurement.
The conference is aimed at:
- Decision-makers at all administrative levels (ministries, UBA, Association of German Cities, Association of German Counties, etc.)
- Representatives from the business community
- Scientific institutions
- Representatives from civil society organisations with links to sustainable/circular procurement
This event will take place at 09:00–15:30 CEST on 7 October. It will be held at Tagungswerk Berlin and online (morning session only). The morning session will be held in English/German, the afternoon session be held in German.
