Remanufacturing is recognised as one of the most valuable strategies for a circular economy. However, as smart products become increasingly complex, the industry faces new hurdles in adopting advanced digital technologies while keeping the human workforce at the core.

The EU-funded rEUman project is working on developing and demonstrating a new human-centric remanufacturing approach for European industry.   

This is the project's first conference. It will look at advanced, digitally enabled solutions for industrial remanufacturing across various sectors, including automotive, home appliances and optoelectronics. The event will explore the broader landscape of circular manufacturing, highlighting novel, digitally-enhanced remanufacturing solutions alongside wider industry insights and policy trends.

Programme highlights include:

• Industry & technology panel: Presentations by leading industry players in the remanufacturing sector
• Remanufacturing market opportunities and EU policy: Addressing market opportunities and innovations in the EU regulatory framework, including the Right to Repair and Digital Product Passports;
• Technology presentations: Showcasing smart, human-centric remanufacturing solutions developed by rEUman.

The event will bring together representatives from manufacturing industries, IT service providers, equipment manufacturers, public institutions and the research community. It will be an excellent opportunity to exchange insights and forge new strategic collaborations.
