Scope

CircularPSP (Public Service Platforms for Circular, Innovative and Resilient Municipalities through PCP) brings together eight leading circular economy cities, representing 45 million people. Its focus is pre-commercial procurement. Other cities, regions, government organisations, public procurement agents and projects are encouraged to become part of the Follower Network.

It is organising a Green Week Partner Event to present its AI tool for public procurement

This webinar will describe the needs and systemic challenges facing cities when they transition to circularity, followed by pitches from two competing solutions which will enter public testing in autumn. The webinar will close with a panel discussion among key (city) stakeholders highlighting specific needs and opportunities in a place-based context.

CircularPSP's solution builds on a specialised AI trained on globally available case studies making them searchable in local context and language through taxonomies. On the platform, cities can create and track their circular missions for the coming years. Staff can follow step-by-step guides to implement a circular case study without prior knowledge. If they need new skills or knowledge, it will be suggested based on their experience. Procurement officers can validate their tender documents for circular criteria and contractual clauses. The city can connect with local businesses about the shift in demand, and those businesses can also access core tools for their own transition.

This event will take place online at 11:00-12:00 CEST on 26 June. It will not be recorded. Registration and programme.
