The Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management Rijkswaterstaat invites its colleagues, cooperation partners, market parties and governments to participate in a number of inspiring online sessions (only in Dutch) from 2 to 4 February 2021 and to work together on a circular and climate-neutral infrastructure.

During the Week of the circular economy and climate 2021 at Rijkswaterstaat, good examples are offered, forerunners have a chance to meet and starters are given concrete tools to get started themselves.

The Netherlands wants to be a circular economy by 2050. A considerable ambition, to which it contributes by being completely energy neutral by 2030, using half the number of primary raw materials and operating in a circular manner. Rijkswaterstaat cannot achieve this in one go: its partners are increasingly working with circular and climate-neutral principles. Together with the market, Rijkswaterstaat is looking for ways to innovate in projects, thus accelerating the transition to circular economy and climate neutrality.
