Then join the working groups developing the Industrial Symbiosis Standardisation Roadmap!

The Roadmap is being developed by CEN, the European Committee for Standardization, CENELEC, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, and DIN, the German Institute for Standardization. It will drive and guide the standardisation of industrial symbiosis in Europe. It will be developed in collaboration with a network of experts and practitioners from various sectors, focusing on:

• identifying challenges and opportunities for industrial symbiosis.
• addressing gaps in existing standards and policy frameworks.
• developing actionable recommendations for fostering resource efficiency.

The Roadmap is part of the Horizon Europe RISERS project addressing the landscape of IS-related standardisation. The project consortium is now calling for experts to join the working groups that will support the development of the Roadmap by focusing on specific thematic areas and priority synergies.
