Launched and funded by the EU as part of the Circular Economy Action Plan, the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) focuses on implementing the circular economy across Europe’s cities and regions.

It has set up 8 communities of practice, working groups where experienced cities and regions come together to tackle shared circular economy challenges. Each community focuses on a specific topic, such as Urban planning for the circular economy, and is a space to exchange ideas, co-develop solutions and learn from peers across Europe.

The communities of practice project has developed a short survey to gather experiences from local, intermunicipal and regional authorities across Europe on governing the circular economy transition.

The survey aims to identify successful governance approaches, common barriers and opportunities to strengthen circular economy action at local and regional levels. The findings will be shared at a seminar in the autumn.

If you have time, do please take the survey – it'll take about 15 minutes.
