CIRC4Life: Survey on Reuse and Recycling concerning Electronic and Food Products

On 5 July a survey on consumer attitudes to reuse and recycling of electronic and food products was launched in the framework of the EU funded project CIRC4life. It will run until 9 September 2019 in order to collect responses from all over Europe.

Its main objectives are:

  • to involve end-users in the creation and design of the new business models and
  • to raise awareness about the importance of reuse and recycling.

Your input is important, as we are looking to understand the needs and behaviours of end-users to be able to better integrate them in the implementation of the circular economy.

A report will be produced analysing the results which will be published end 2019.

At CIRC4Life, engaging end-users is very important as already done via the innovation camp, living labs, workshops etc to empower them in making sustainable choices.

The overall aim of the project is to develop new products and services based in the circular economy using a co-creation, collaborative recycling and reuse and sustainable consumption approach. They will be demonstrated in four industry sectors:

  • domestic and industrial lighting products (LED),
  • vegetable farming and food,
  • meat supply chain, and
  • computer tablets.
