Let's hear your views on the European Commission's framework monitoring the EU's progress towards a circular economy

A monitoring framework for the circular economy measures the EU's progress towards a circular economy and helps determine whether EU and national policies and actions are contributing to the circular economy.

In 2018, the Commission adopted a set of indicators to assess the progress made towards a more circular economy and the effectiveness of actions at EU and national level. This revision of the indicators aims to ensure better coverage of the production stage of the economic cycle and the links between circularity, climate neutrality and zero pollution, in line with the European Green Deal.

The European Commission would like to hear your views on the initiative Circular economy – revision of the monitoring framework. This call for evidence will be open for feedback until 3 June 2022 (midnight CEST). Your input will be taken into account when developing and finetuning the initiative.
