Looking for talented entrepreneurs to drive the city’s circular transition
This Circular Cities programme accelerates advanced start-up teams with innovative solutions fostering the circular economy in urban areas.
The focus is on cities, as they contribute to waste generation and are responsible for over 70% of greenhouse gas emissions. However, cities and regions have the potential to change the existing economic model towards a circular model.
Circular Cities offers grants for start-ups combined with a tailor-made accelerator programme with a circular focus and climate impact. It connects start-ups with the largest climate-focused community in the world powered by EIT Climate-KIC ClimAccelerator, as well as investors, partner cities, corporate and ecosystem partners.
This Europe-wide programme will be run online, free of charge, and in English.
Circular Cities is currently looking for 25 start-ups with circular economy solutions/innovations to participate. Applications on its website or LinkedIn page are accepted until 10 April 2022.
