ENDURANCE is an Erasmus+ project focusing on developing a green acceleration methodology for EU clusters to integrate green growth, eco-innovation and European Green Deal strategies and scenarios in SMEs and startups. This in turn will support the transition towards a clean, circular and climate-neutral economy by channeling through clusters the knowledge that will facilitate the sustainable reconversion of Europe's industrial fabric.

The project aims to:

• help EU clusters acquire the tools and skills to cultivate and incubate innovative green business development;
• guide clusters in providing SMEs with tailored support on knowledge-sharing and services on sustainability;
• nurture green and social impact SMEs and start-ups;
• encourage clusters’ companies to thrive to be the best in their sectors;
• ease the transition towards a clean, circular and climate-neutral economy via upskilling and reskilling by supporting a teaching ecosystem for VET that is hands-on and work oriented.

It has now produced a handbook entitled 'Pathways to Green Innovation: Acceleration Scenarios for EU Clusters'. It is the project's first output. It sets out a green acceleration methodology with defined, transferable and effective acceleration scenarios. These will serve as a roadmap for other European clusters, regardless of their sector of industrial activity.
