Fjällräven has developed a new way of reducing its environmental footprint, the so-called "Recovered Wool" initiative, by using wool waste from the Swedish sheep farms producing meat. Until not so long ago, they were disposing of approximately 100 tons of wool per year, which did not have the same fibre quality as the wool produced for garments.
