The BUS-GoCircular project aimed to enhance the construction sector’s capacity to address challenges like the Renovation Wave, promoting sustainability in buildings. It was funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, and ran from September 2021 to March 2024.

Accordingly, it sought to empower workers across the value chain with the skills needed while also fostering demand for these skilled individuals in the green energy sector. It did so by analysing the skills needed for the Renovation Wave, developing a Qualification Framework for circular construction, created training programmes, and crafting an action plan for public authorities to boost demand for skilled workers.

The project has now come to an end, and its final report sets out what the project has achieved and the specific training materials produced. This is broken down into training resources, a qualification framework and resources for the public sector.
