Scope

European and national policies on sustainability and the efficient use of resources are changing. This means that good practices play a key role in translating strategic priorities into tangible actions, fostering innovation, replicability and the uptake of circular models across production systems and areas.

The 8th Annual Conference of the Italian Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ICESP) will focus on the role of circular economy good practices as a driver for the transition. The ICESP Platform has a database of Italian circular good practices (both technological and methodological) supporting more sustainable production and territorial systems.

The conference will feature institutional perspectives, discussion on the European context and a roundtable with key representatives of national networks and initiatives working on identifying and monitoring good practices. The goal is to share experiences, tools and pathways to support the wider implementation of these good practices.

ICESP represents a well-established community of circular economy actors in Italy.  It includes over 200 organisations and around 400 experts from public institutions, businesses, research and civil society.

During the conference, the ICESP Good Practices Award 2025 will also be presented, recognising outstanding initiatives promoted by companies, public administrations and civil society organisations.

The event will take place at 09:00 to 13:00 CET on 25 March. It will be in hybrid format and in Italian. Participation is free of charge.
