This webinar will explore how collaborative action can help build resilient, net-zero and circular production systems.

It is organised by the EU-funded project CASRI (Collaborative Action coordinating and enhancing systemic, actionable and transversal Sustainability Research and Innovation), which is coordinated by the German Environment Agency. The project aims to provide the knowledge really needed by stakeholders for the transition to sustainability.

During this event, participants will discuss opportunities to better coordinate funding, align investments and translate research priorities into joint activities.

Funders will gain insights into emerging knowledge needs, while researchers and other knowledge creators can explore funding and collaboration opportunities. Public authorities, cities, regions, businesses and civil society will be invited to identify the knowledge needed to support more resilient circular production systems.

The webinar builds on a map of funding opportunities linked to the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for Europe’s sustainability transition. SRIA was developed by the CASRI project through collaboration between European and national environmental protection agencies. It is intended to strengthen coordinated and actionable sustainability research and innovation across Europe.

The event will focus primarily on resilient, net-zero, circular production systems, while also addressing sustainable urbanisation.

This webinar is part of Circular Week 2026. It will take place at 10:00 - 12:00 CET on 30 October; you will need to contact the organisers to register.
