Discover the final results of the three-year long URBANREC project by joining project partners on 6 November in Brussels. Taking the scope of bulky waste management as a starting point, the conference will tackle not only technical, but also policy and legal aspects related to plastics, textile, and reuse, feeding the discussion for further progress in terms of circular economy.

The conference in a nutshell
The day will begin with a policy dialogue in the morning session at the European Parliament, with participation of MEP Ms. Maria Spyraki. In the afternoon, in parallel to a permanent exhibition showcasing the technical characteristics of the project, partners will take the floor to explain their achievements over the three years of the project.

Practical session for local and regional authorities
To share good practices and help local and regional authorities improve their waste management strategies, ACR+ is animating a working group session on 7 November 2019. Building on the conclusions of the previous day, three parallel sessions will address how to develop and implement a step-by-step strategy about reuse, non-packaging plastics, and non-clothing textiles.
