This workshop is organised by the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform, an international platform bringing together in7dustry, science, regulators and stakeholders with a view to facilitating sustainable phosphorus management, including reuse and recycling, together with NORCE, NIBIO, UK CEH and Ragn-Sells.

It will look at nutrient recycling from aquaculture sludge, nutrient optimisation in fish feed, valorisation of nutrients in seafood processing and aquaculture nutrient flows. The workshop will contribute to the United Nations (UNEP) project uPcycle, leading to a UNEP white paper on  phosphorus sustainability in aquaculture. 

There will be site visits to a marine fish farm with fish sludge recovery (limited places on boat, book now!), fish sludge processing and nutrient recycling installations. The workshop is intended for the aquaculture and seafood industries, researchers, stakeholders, aquaculture BAT and sustainability practitioners and regulators.
