Refashion Day
Refashion Day on 4 October 2022 from 9:45 to 17:45 CET is an opportunity for debates and meetings with textile sector experts. It will bring together stakeholders working to rethink the environmental, economic and social balance in the textile industry.

The recycling of non-reusable textiles and footwear remains a vast undertaking, whether in a closed or open loop. However, industrial groups have launched a number of initiatives to improve the recycling of their residual materials (especially plastics) and transform textile industry waste into new materials. This first session aims to explore how these initiatives work and what opportunities they offer, especially in the current energy crisis.

Eco-design means integrating environmental commitments into the design of a product. How can we do this? By transforming production models at all levels: within a company and throughout the production chain. A horizontal approach will be the main theme of this session, which will be led by committed companies and representatives of French regions seeking to re-shore the production of raw (or secondary) textile materials.
