bioSOILUTIONS focuses on transforming biowaste into safe and effective soil improvers, while NBSOIL is training a new generation of soil advisors and providing tools and resources to put nature-based solutions into action for sustainable soil management. 

These two projects will be organising their final conferences together. It will be an opportunity for researchers, farmers, advisors, businesses, policymakers and other stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to healthier soils, from biowaste-based soil improvers and circular fertilisation to nature-based solutions, living labs and improved soil advisory services.

Participants will:

• Learn more about what these two projects have achieved
• Discuss circular fertilisation, soil health and farmer resilience 
• Explore the role of nature-based solutions and biowaste valorisation 
• Hear about the challenges and opportunities of living labs
• Discover new knowledge and tools for soil advisors 
• Exchange views on policy developments and funding opportunities
• Meet other people working on soil health and sustainable agriculture 

There will be presentations, expert discussions, project results pitches, a results marketplace, a policy workshop, Q&A sessions and networking opportunities.

This conference will take place in person starting on the afternoon of 28 October and continuing until lunchtime on 29 October.
